Treatments for Acne

There are multiple treatments available in the market for acne, today I am giving some home remedies for acne.


First you should develop a practice of removing makeup before going to bed, and apply minimum makeup or no makeup, as it let your skin breathe and keeps it bacteria free. Hydrate your skin. Drink maximum water as it keeps your skin glowing and bacteria free. Water keeps body fresh and your body develops strength to fight against any diseases.

Boil Tulsi leaves on water. Cool it and apply on effected area with cotton, it is beneficial for best acne treatment. Mixture of turmeric powder and mint juice is very effective for acne infected skin area and has no side effects. This is one of the important home remedies for acne.

Take turmeric and neem leaves paste or turmeric and sandalwood paste and apply it on the affected area its good home remedies for acne. You can also apply lemon juice on acne affected area this is also a very helpful home remedy for acne.

Apply grated potatoes on affected area it gives you relief from acne pain and inflammation. Strawberry leaves are also very helpful in treatment of acne.

Tomato paste when applied on acne gives you relief from inflammation and acne growth. Apply garlic paste on acne affected area, as it dries the acne living no scars. This is one of the important home remedies for acne.

Fenugreek leaves (methi leaves) paste is effective and safe best acne treatment. Apply it every night and wash the effected area with the lukewarm water, when it gets dried. This is one of the useful home remedies for acne. Lavender oil, orange peel paste, cucumber paste, Aloe Vera juice prevent acne growth. They are effective and safe home treatment.


Fast Healing of Acne

Keep the affected area as free of oil as possible. Shampoo your hair frequently. Use all-natural soap with sulfur that is designed for acne. Wash your skin thoroughly but gently; never rub hard. Vigorous scrubbing can make acne worse.  As much as possible, avoid stress. Stress can promote hormonal changes and cause flare-ups. Many dermatologists also recommend fifteen minutes of sunshine each day, regular exercise and sufficient sleep for people with acne.


Avoid wearing makeup. If you feel you must use cosmetics, use only natural, water-based products; do not use any oil-based formulas. Avoid any products containing harsh chemicals, dyes, or oils. Wash and dip makeup applicator brushes and sponges in alcohol after each use to avoid contamination. Avoid the use of oral or topical steroids, which can aggravate acne
Friction makes pimples more likely to rupture, do not squeeze the spots. To do so is to risk increasing the inflammation by causing breaks in the skin in which harmful bacteria can lodge. Do not touch the affected area unless your hands have been thoroughly cleaned

Tips to avoid Acne

Eat a diet that is high in fiber. This is important for keeping the colon clean and ridding the body of toxins. One should Increase your intake of raw foods that contain oxalic acid, including almonds, beets, cashews, and Swiss chard. Exceptions are spinach and rhubarb; these contain oxalic acid, but should be consumed in small amounts only. You can also intake foods rich in zinc, including shellfish, soybeans, whole grains, sunflower seeds, and a small amount of raw nuts daily. Zinc is an antibacterial agent and a necessary element in the oil-producing glands of the skin. A diet low in zinc may promote flare-ups.

Eat plenty of soured products, such as low-fat yogurt, to maintain healthy intestinal flora.  You should also avoid alcohol, butter, caffeine, cheese, chocolate, cocoa, cream eggs, fat, fish, fried foods, hot and spicy foods, hydrogenated oils and shortenings, margarine, meat, poultry, wheat, soft drinks, and foods containing brominated vegetable oils. Try eliminating dairy products from your diet for one month. Acne
Avoid all forms of sugar. Sugar impairs immune function. In addition, biopsies of individuals with acne have shown their tissues’ glucose tolerance to be seriously flawed. One researcher calls this condition “skin diabetes”. Eliminate all processed foods from the diet, and do not use iodized salt. These contain high levels of iodine, which is known to worsen acne. For the same reason, avoid fish, kelp, and onions.
may develop due to an allergic reaction to dairy products, and the fat content of the dairy products can worsen the condition. After the month is over, add dairy products back one at a time to see if the acne returns.

Scars in acne

After healing of an acne leaves a red or hyperpigmented mark on the skin. We can call this a post-inflammatory change is seen in the skin, and for healing it takes approximately 6-12 months.


For healing the skin normally it’s very urgent that no more acne develop in that area. . Any color change or skin defect still present after 1 year is considered to be a permanent defect or scar. To prevent post-inflammatory changes caused by acne is to prevent acne lesions from occurring. Wearing a good sunscreen is very important because unprotected exposure to the sun causes more skin damage and delays healing, therefore wearing a good sunscreen is important. Picking at scabs should be avoided at all costs. Scabs form to protect the healing process that is going on underneath them. Pulling a scab off before it is ready interferes with the healing and remodeling process, prolonging the time that post-inflammatory changes will be visible.

Mask for acne

Acne is typically caused by the interaction of bacteria, hormones and sebum, oil from the hair follicle. A conscientious skin-care regime can combat some causes. Use a weekly facial scrub followed by a facial mask. Spot-treating blemishes with a formulation of bacteria-fighting essential oils such as tea tree, neroli or lemon oil can help them heal fast.

Here are some useful tips masks for acne.


Egg Yolk Mask:

The use of vitamin A against acne scarring is best treatment, and the yolk of egg contains it. Simply whip the yolk of egg and apply it on your skin. Leave it to at least 20 minutes and relaxed your skin mussels. Then wash off.

Sea Salt or Table Salt Mask:

Take a sea salt and make a mask. Or just gently wash with salt & water mixed.
Oatmeal Mask
Blend some oatmeal with water and gently spread it onto your skin. Leave it until it dries 10-15 minutes. This mask is gentle and safe.

Egg white Mask

Mix beaten white-egg with juice of half a lemon and add 1 tablespoon ground oaten flakes. Put mask on the face for 20 minutes. Then wash the face with fresh tea added to water.

Wheat Flour Mask

Mix juice of half a lemon with 1 white-egg. Put on the face with brush. In 15-20 minutes clean with cool water. This mask draws pores well.
Mix 1 tablespoon wheat flour with grapefruit juice. Put on the face for 15-20 minutes, and then wash face with warm water. Mask nourishes skin well.

Blackheads 2

Don’t Scrub your Face if u r having blackheads.The best way to prevent breakouts is by keeping the skin clean. Many a figures shows that the harder they scrub their face, the cleaner their skin will be, but scrubbing your face won’t make it any cleaner, all scrubbing will do is irritate your skin and aggravate your acne. Instead, gently wash your face.



If you do get a blackhead, don’t squeeze it. You’re just depositing oil from your fingers on your face and spreading it around; many times it seems almost impossible not to squeeze the blackheads that have popped up on your chin, nose, or forehead. Squeezing blackheads, whiteheads and pimples will only irritate or inflame them, and they will end up looking and feeling worse than they already do. Squeezing blackheads can also leave a scar or dark mark behind.

Get rid of blackhead

The person who have blackhead wants to get rid of blackhead, then the main thing is that the person have to stop oil base cream and makeup and skin treatment you should also stop using hard scrubber on your face and stop scrubbing your face with harsh abrasives.

Moisturize your skin by simply put the damp cloth over your face for a period of 15-25 minutes each night, to help loosen and dissolve dead skin, dirt, and other pore clogging particles. It has been suggested that boiling the wash cloth first will ensure that you are not introducing additional bacteria to the surface of your face. Please allow the cloth to cool properly.


One can also use beta hydroxy acid to the face on a regular basis has been shown to help get rid of blackheads. Or you can also use 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide facial cleanser will help get rid of blackheads. But you should consult your doctor first before using any type of cream in your face
