Skin Problems

Now days most persons are having skin problems. There are many types of problems which happens due to many reasons the problem can happen due to Inflammation of the skin caused by overexposure to the sun. There is also a common problem known as Photo aging refers to the damage that is done to the skin from prolonged exposure, over a person’s lifetime, to UV radiation. Most of the skin changes that occur as we get older are accelerated by sun exposure. Sunburn is also a type of skin problem it caused by exposure to the ultraviolet (UV) rays of the sun. There are two types of ultraviolet rays, UVA and UVB. UVA rays penetrate the skin more deeply and can cause melanoma in susceptible people. UVB rays, which don’t penetrate as deeply, cause sunburn and wrinkling. Most UVB rays are absorbed by sunscreen but only about half the UVA rays are absorbed.

According to the modern research, smoke triggers oxidization – a killer process for skin cells. Its the toxic mix of 3000+ chemicals in cigarette smoke that come into contact with the skin’s surface – penetrating the outer barrier and unleashing free radical damage on the skin cells. It happens to smokers and now we know it happens to us if we hang out with smokers. A tan is a sign of skin damage. Deliberate exposure to all forms of ultraviolet (UV) radiation will increase your risk of skin damage and skin cancer. Tanning without burning can still cause irreversible skin damage, premature ageing and skin cancer. Intrinsic aging is also type of skin damage its also known as the natural aging process, is a continuous process that normally begins in our mid-20s. Within the skin, collagen production slows, and elastin, the substance that enables skin to snap back into place, has a bit less spring.
